Conducted by Pete Anthony and performed by the 100+ piece Hollywood Studio Symphony orchestra, this special release features Elfman's masterful compositions for the second installment of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, and Alfred Molina. - As Peter Parker navigates his dual life as a college student and superhuman crime fighter, Elfman's score delves deep into character emotions, revisiting and expanding on his classic Spider-Man themes while introducing a bold and ominous new motif for Peter's latest nemesis, Doc Ock. The album also includes two bonus tracks composed and recorded by Elfman but not included in the final film: the action-packed, brass and percussion-led "Train / Appreciation" and the tender, heartfelt "Aunt May Packs," offering fans a glimpse into Elfman's original vision.
